LeBron James is leaving his hometown Cleveland but he says he is leaving behind something more meaningful than any of his NBA championship.
The NBA star who is leaving Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time and heading to Los Angeles Lakers has opened a public school for challenged kids in Cleveland.
LeBron who admits jittery feelings before the first day of the school said it was one of the greatest moments of his life.
James spent 11 seasons with the Cavaliers, with a title win in 2016 to end Cleveland’s 52-year drought without a pro sports championship.
His exit ends a four- year stay with the Cavs after his return in 2014 following four seasons with the Miami Heat.
