Pennsylvania State advisory board has recommended that comedian/actor Bill Cosby be declared a sexually violent predator which will require him to undergo counseling as register as a sex offender for life.
The 81-year-old ‘The Cosby Show’ star was found guilty in April of drugging and raping an old friend Andrea Constand at his home in Philadelphia in 2004
Constand is among a very long list o women who accused the comedian of sexually assaulting dating back decades, but hers was the only one recent enough for Cosby to be prosecuted for.
Pennsylvania state law, says that a sexually violent predator is a person convicted of a sexually violent offense “who has a mental abnormality or personality disorder the makes the person likely to engage in predatory sexually violent offenses.”
The state law also requires Police to provide a flier containing the name of the offender, a mugshot and a description of the sexual offense to the offender’s 25 closest neighbors.
A judge is yet to accept the recommendation and Cosby has the right to challenge the recommendation in court.
Meanwhile, Bill Cosby is only allowed to leave his home to see doctors or his lawyers pending his September sentencing.
