2018 World Cup: Nigeria Draws Argentina, Croatia, and Iceland in Group D in the 2018 World cup in the draw that was held on Friday.
Coach of the Super Eagle Gernot Rohr, however, says though the group is a difficult one, he believes the team can spring a surprise at the World cup finals in June 2018.
Nigeria will be making its sixth appearance in the tournament and will be having the youngest and most inexperienced players in the competition.
In a friendly match last month, the super eagles had a sensational 4-2 win over Argentina who they lost to in the 2014 world cup.
Though the country has never reached the finals Coach Rohr says he hopes to get there by instilling discipline in the players. He attributed the failure of the team to attain the potentials seen in them to lack of discipline, which he intends to fix.
Rohr admits that the most difficult match will be against Croatia on June 16th which will be Nigeria’s opener.
