Assistant Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari has arrested the person impersonating him on Facebook.
Last week the crime bursting police officer had warned his friends and followers on the social media platform about someone posing to be the Abba Kyari.
The suspect identified as Henry Ushie from Bekwara LGA, Cross River State was arrested in Asaba, Delta state and confessed to the crime as also confessed that he has been impersonating prominent Nigerians in order to defraud unsuspecting citizens.
Henry allegedly promised to secure jobs and UN peacekeeping jobs for his victims who believe they are speaking to the people he impersonates.Those who he impersonated in the past include DIGs, Ministers, AIGs and company CEOs.
The suspect said after he read about Abba Kyari’s warning post to his friends, he immediately googles him and he has been having sleepless nights.
Henry is said to have been arrested in 2015 for the same crime but was released on bail.
