There was pandemonium inAbisogun Leigh Street, Ogba, Lagos State on Sunday the half-naked bodies of two apparent lovebirds were found dead in a Toyota Corolla parked by the roadside.
Though the names of the late persons have not yet been disclosed, they were both said to have been married respectively.
It was gathered that the man who was found on the driver’s side, was half-naked, with his private parts showing, while the woman, who wore a gown, reclined in the passenger seat next to him.
The incident happened behind the headquarters of the Area G Police Command, Ogba, Lagos State.
It was gathered that a tricycle (Keke) rider, who was riding on the street, noticed that the headlamps of the car were still at about 8.30am.
When he noticed the light was still on 30 minutes after, he called the attention of an Executive member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers to the car.Both men then peeped into the car where the noticed that the occupants were motionless, after which they alerted the police authorities.
The corpses of the deceased have been deposited in a morgue while the car had been moved to the premises of the Area G Police Command.
The NURT official confirmed that he and the KEKE rider informed the police who moved the corpses to the back seat and drove the car to the station.
The families of the deceased have been informed through their phones.The families and relatives were said to have been shocked that they were in a relationship because they both lived in the same compound, with the woman husband saying that he had suspected his wife was having an affair but decided not to confront her.
The man’s wife is said to be a nursing mother, and the man’s father is the also said to be the landlord of the house where they both lived.
